Background

We have already prepared the HTML page with the MP5 player in it. This page is designed to grab the personalized information from the link, and use it in all relevant places in the MP5 video.

We will guide you how to easily prepare a personalized link, so that each user can see their own personalized MP5 video.

Prepare

1. Login to your Mailchimp account
2. Create your Email Campaign or enter the campaign you already have
3. Detect the personalized data: In the link to the MP5 Player page, find out which personalized information you will need. For example - Name (the recipient’s first name). Here is your link: https://assets.blings.io/projects/jcc/z3.html?name=Sharon

Customize the Personalized Link

1. If you are a tech savvy you can use this link or see out tutorial for instructions For example if you need to use the first name, use |FNAME|.
2. Other, use the text editor inside the Email editor:
   1. Paste the https://assets.blings.io/projects/jcc/z3.html?name=Sharon
   2. For each data (eg: name=Dana), replace the text after the ‘=’ by highlighting it, and selecting the relevant option from the ‘Merge Tags’ drop-down in the text editor. For example: change: name=Dana to: name=|FNAME|
